Cha-Cha-Changes in Decor

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th! We did! It rained and was a breezy 76* here. Completely unheard of for this town. So we played in the rain, threw some pop-its and B loved every minute of it.

Okay now for other news in decor.
I have been wanting a chandelier for a long time to add to the bedroom, but with prices way out of my budget I held off. Last week I took a mom break and headed out to some thrifts. I haven't been thrifting in ages and don't know what sparked me to go but I am so glad I did. I found this!!!!
It was actually 2 sconces with glass tear drops. I grabbed them and thought okay...how can I make this work. I put them flat back to flat back and what do you know...it made a beautiful chandelier!!
Guess how much...go on guess. $5 each so my chandi with a little wire work by my hubby took form for a whole $10!!!!!
I added the battery operated faux candles and a covered rope chain.
It fills the space just as I wanted it to.

Then for my next project. I took on my son's bathroom yesterday.
These are the BEFORE shots...Painting it a lovely shade of shabby blue gray. I am painting out his horrible oak cabinets today and I will reveal the whole make over tomorrow :)

Off I go to get started on the cabinets.

AWESOME chandie Amy!!~ What a great idea and it looks beautiful!
I can't wait to see Brooklyn's bathroom. I have been wanting to re-do the boy's room and bathroom and I am just stuck on what to do.
Hope you have a great night.
Sincerely,
Melinda
