Playing with Hearts

Its all about hearts around here.

This week will be full of crafting and playing with Hearts.

I was lucky to receive this most gorgeous handmade heart from across oceans and miles and miles away.  Dear sweet friend sent this to cheer me up and it worked.  This will be on display all year round.
I think I will place it in a frame to hang on the wall.

As I was sitting down to eat my lunch a heart pop right off my plate.
My sweet potato had been cut and fell straight into a heart shape :)
It was almost too difficult to eat cause is was so cute, but I had to snap a pic.

Then we have been playing with the melt beads and making fun hearts.

Tomorrow is Saturday Craft day around here and I am sure we will be playing with lots of hearts.

But for today I am playing with some fortunes....more to come on that later :)

Oh Amy - that just looks so gorgeous sitting on the vintage book too :-)
And fancy your lunch being in a heart shape. I am so excited to see what you create with your heart theme :-)
Happy crafting my long distance friend, Hugs, Julie Xox

I love that you craft with your son, I used to do that with my children when they were young...I have to beg to get them to craft with me now! but that is okay, they have busy lives....
