Day 1

This is the first day of getting back in my studio and organizing.
Continuing in my redecorating, I started with my plain white bookshelves.

I found this beautiful shelf paper by Laura Ashley.
It has a hazing grey blue and the golden yellow floral design pops right off the paper.

The blue grey blends into all the blues I will be adding to the room.

I am completely thrilled with the old Hollywood style of it.

Just the right pop I was looking for.
So much more to do though, off I go.

It's good to see your creative spirit flowing again Amy. I'm glad you're up for small projects - the bookcase looks great!
You definitely would have loved all this snow we got. It was the most fun Sunday, but now it's starting to melt and getting dirty from the streets. I hate that part...
Your memory of the blizzard of '82 as a kid also reminds me of blizzard of '78 here as a kid. We had such fun playing in snow caves in our yard! :)
