Fashion Star? Or Fashion DUD?

(image via NBC Fashion Star)
So I finally caught the Fashion Star show that debuted on NBC this week.
What a horrible program it is.
I had such high hopes for it since it has my fav Nicole Richie.
But seriously how good could it be with Jessica Simpson telling designers of what people should be wearing.
I just had to laugh when Macy's said this classic outfit doesn't fit their client. They are looking for something that fits the American woman.
OKAY, have the buyers been in a Macy's store??? I am in there at least once a week and this is what they are shoving down the American Womans throats.
NOW TELL ME, how many real American women can fit this outfit???

No, lets not go for something classic and clean lets let the slut in all of us come out and wear this!
I live in Vegas, and trust, I am so tired of seeing overweight, or even young little girls wearing stuff like this. There is more than one kind of woman in the world and some of us like something called STYLE.
Get a clue Fashion Star, we are not all looking to catch a predator!

Amy!
Laughing so hard here, but you do speak the truth. While I didn't watch the show (can't bear to watch those so-called "fashion" type shows) you are so right.
I have an 11 yo dd and we have a hard enough time finding suitable clothing for her to wear.
It's very sad what has happened to some of the younger people.....not a day goes by that I don't see some young girl wearing pj bottoms and slippers into a store, or baring way too much skin, it's offensive!

Seriously, I cannot stomach Jessica Simpson, she is so WalMart in my opinion. Sorry.

I adore that first image, I love those pants!!! And this wasn't right for a client? It's so classy.

I love Nicole but Jessica is too boring for my taste. I wouldn't waste my time watching her.
