Primitive Stars

We are still searching for a star to top our tree, they just don't have a selection fit for a candy cane tree. I usually make a star and I just might end up doing that, I really wanted one that lights up but handmade might be the way to go.
I have been working on another star in my Studio.
This primitive one with all vintage adornments.
its so peaceful and soft
Thanks to a sweet friend for sending me prizes in the mail that are so rare to find out here, this star would have never been. Our weekend was full of fun but now it is time to get back in the studio.
I am really jazzed about some things that are coming to the shop this week.
More Ditty Bags/ Stockings. These are at unbelievable prices to scoop up.
And I have BIG News...I have been asked to have a showing at a downtown gallery,
It will be titled "DISCARDED" and I will be accompanied by live music from Brendan Brown,
I will have more details as it gets closer, February 3rd is the opening night. I have lots to get started for this show. And I promise to have pictures of this event. This is so exciting!
My goal is to only use what I have in my studio or that comes my way for free.
Only trying to upcycle or repurpose is what I am going for. So no traditional canvas will be used
:) ...stay tuned.

Great stars, Amy. I wanted to let you know that your red ribbon ornament is gracing my tree now. I only bought two new ornaments this year on Etsy, one from you and one from Sushipot.
That show sounds like a good one. Can't wait to see what comes out of your studio on that theme.

How cool Amy- good for you - you deserve it as you have such an eye for "stuff" and how to make it beautiful. I love it and wish I could be closer to attend the showing. I hope they allow you to take lots of pics so we can "attend" that way.
