New Years Plans

This is not what you probably think it is going to be.
No, no parties or fancy dresses. No drinking til we are sick and saying hello to midnight.

It will be a much better...to me anyway.
I will be re-decorating and rearranging my studio.
We started tonight but the fun will come when the new bed arrives and I can dress it in this gorgeous antique french duvet. I just fell in love with it. The blues, the pattern and the soft soft cotton.I treated myself to this lovely after all the presents were bought for others and donations were made. It was a little gift to me and my guests getting ready to visit.

I will get new pictures of the space by next week. Oh, I can't wait to dive into this project.
Freshen up things. I will now be able to sit in my studio in comfort and watch a movie to crochet to or journal the night away.
So what are your plans for ringing in the New Year?
Will it be wrapped in your favorite blankie and watching movies?

Haha, we're a lively bunch. I was gonna clean out clutter for donations. Also I'll be spending it with my hubby and the Lord :) Focusing on changes that need to be made.

You would have to pay me a pretty penny to go to the strip with thousands of drunkos. Been there, done that, dont ever care to go back. It's like watching a live porno, ew.

and do we really want to start the new year hung over? na.

Amy,
What a fun project! Sure wish I could fit a bed in my studio, haha. I can barely fit myself in there at the moment (sad but true!).
I love your plans, love that french duvet (TDF!)....we're having a fondue party for 3 and watching a movie, as yet to be determined, maybe the new Harry Potter that dd got for Christmas.
In any case, we'll be tucked in for the night at an early hour and glad of it...have fun sweetie!

We walk over to our friend's home and sit around the fire pit, sharing stories, drinking champagne and laughing until our sides hurt.

It's safe and fun. No driving for us.

Have a Happy New Years Eve, my friend. xo Rhonda
