Back Down

Yesterday I woke up with a bang.
I felt so good!
Therefore I moved around to much and went for a car ride.
It was my downfall.

By evening I was hurting and knew that today was going to be bad.
So here I am back in my bed and feet up.
Lesson learned.

I am not superwoman and cannot rebound like I did when I was younger.

Thank goodness for great friends.
Of course as soon as I left my home for a car ride to take Grammy to the airport, my friend Leona stopped by to check on me.
She was so sweet and left for me a big gorgeous soft bundle of yarn.

Today I am using that yarn on a special project that I will take photos of to blog about.

There was also a big progression yesterday in my diet...I had COFFEE, decaf but COFFEE!!!
It was soooo good!!!!

Tomorrow rain is supposed to come for a week!  I can't wait to hear the sound of the rain hit the roof.
Something to look forward to in my little set back of a day.

Dear Amy
So happy that someone dropped off some yarn. I know it stinks not having that youthful bounce back. I know you will get much needed rest and be up and around soon. Yes even decaf coffee was probably such a treat.

Hello Amy - oh my how we all have to learn from these little setbacks - we feel so good that we overdo it & then we pay the price :-) I'll bet we can all relate to that!!
So glad you got some yarn - rest up while you create my friend - listen to your body & take care. Gentle hugs across the miles, Julie Xox

Don't MAKE me drive over there...don't make me! LOL

Girl, take it easy and I know, I know, we feel good and jump at the chance for our lives back. I do it all the time.

Love that last shot, looks comfy and warm. You've got everything you need right there, tv, laptop...good to go.

Amy,

Take things slow and play with that gorgeous yarn for awhile....you'll be back before you know it! We all need some down time. I had to go to school to pick up my sweet dd today because she has a cough. I think I'll be keeping her to myself tomorrow. So many schools are having very low attendance here because of illness, mostly the flu, so I certainly don't want her exposed to that when her defenses are down.
Curl up with some coffee (decaf, of course! Or tea) and take good care.
That was a sweet friend who brought you some yarn!!!!!!

Glad everything went well and hoping each day you grow stronger and stronger. Why is it that when we have so much to do all we want to do is sit around and be lazy, but when we actually can...we want to be up and moving around? Crazy!

Take it easy, my friend:-)

Sorry to hear about your setback, Amy...it happens to all of us...you feel good and do too much, too soon! Get some pampering, and soon you'll be able to do more each day! XO

Love the project you are working on and can't wait to see it grow! Must feel good to get crafty again. SO glad to hear that you're recovering, although it is frustrating it is a slow process. I miss the fast recovery of my teen years - I healed so fast then!!

If you need a break from online shopping, do tell me some behind the scenes dirt!! Am dying to hear about VV.
