Winter Glow

Winter is upon us.
It is super chilly out and the child sleeps well into the dark evening.

I love sitting with just a glow of twinkle lights on and dreaming.

It seems I have caught either a cold or I am having some crazy sinus stuff going on.
My energy low, I sit and dream of reworking my studio to a streamlined place, free of clutter.

I sit and sketch on red construction paper, in pencil, my dreamy ideas to start my New Year off fresh.
In my mind it always works and little by little as I get a tad of energy to waste I will move a few things closer to my dream coming true.

While energy is low, I peruse the pinterest pages of glamorous places filled with luxurious mirrors, brass trinkets and fluffy rugs.

I framed a few pieces of the boys art to put up, to remind me to keep my creating happy and fun.

So as I sit in my uggs and sweats, sneezing and coughing...I dream of better days to come in 2013.

:D Love the art! So cute. I hope you're feeling better soon. When I got strep in November it only took two days for it to develop into pneumonia, so please take care of yourself!

Oh Amy - how I wish I was sitting in that cool fairy-lit room with you instead of sweltering here in the heat & wondering how many more pieces of clothing I can remove & still remain decent!!!???
The art looks fantastic framed - how wonderful.
Hope you are soon feeling much improved dear heart.
Hugs, Julie :-)

Oh sweetie, I know that this will be a fantastic year for you and your beautiful family!!
I hope your feeling better soon. It's funny, when I'm sick, I feel I'm the most creative. Maybe because we can't do anything but lay around and dream of what we want to do next. :)
I'm so sorry I missed you when you were here. I hope B is doing better and I hope you all have a wonderful and happy Christmas!!
Sincerely,
Melinda
