September

Well hello there,
It is been a week since my last post and it is officially September.

We have been a bit busy around here but good busy.
My hubby was at work for 8 days straight so it was a loooong week and a day.
Thank goodness for the boy being back in school full time otherwise it would have been a crazy week.  But instead it was a good week.
He comes home so happy from school and ready for naps, play and full of stories.

Very calm and he is even now considered one of the best behaved in his typical peers classroom. YES!!! That makes us so proud.  All the lies that we were told by "professional autism teachers" saying a typical classroom would not benefit him, ha, you were all wrong and I am so glad we fought and went with what our hearts knew.  He now writes his name, does his homework every night, draws like crazy, listens and makes great choices and has made friends.

okay now that I am done gushing over my boy and his amazing progress, I will share what I have been up to.

I am only allowing myself to work with what I have and make do.
Well once you put your mind to it, you realize how much stuff you can make do with and still make pretty things. Thus a ton of yo-yos out of scraps.  A special order Betty :) and crochet hats all from what I had laying around.

Today I am stock piling for my shows and getting things done.
Every time I finish something it gets tagged and put away in the box ready to go to the booth.  I am organized and on top of things, and I couldn't be happier.   Santa letters by the dozens being tied up...

So if ya don't see me for another week or so, you will know I am sewing, crocheting, stamping and hanging with my family.

I am so happy for little B. School should inspire and keep his creative interests strong.

You have been very busy, look at all you've created. Love it.

Wooo Hoooooo!!! Way to go, Amy.
I think I might be ready for fall since I saw the crocheted pumpkins. I am inspired to dig mine out now! Does it still seem like fall when it's 104???

You sure made me smile!!!Your post is full of joy and appreciation.. love that! Bravo for you on sticking to your guns, knowing what was best for you son. I have one of those stories too and when you get the reward of seeing the outcome being the best it can be for your child, it makes the job of motherhood so rewarding! By the way, I love those Santa letters!
