Late in the Afternoon

It has been ages since getting to play a rousing game of Scrabble around here.

We have to play as child sleeps or else the tiles get messed up in an instant.

As we played the cat came to join the fun.

We think he was trying to spell M-E-O-W...but was waiting for that open M to come around :)

This was a game for the record books. My hubby usually dominates this game. But for only the second time in 12 years I won and I won big...almost 300 points

Then the child of the house awoke and the game quickly came to an end.
He automatically ran in and grabbed letters and started shouting each letter out.

It was nice to sit in the peace and quiet of the afternoon with a friendly game of Scrabble.

None of this was setup it all just happened as we were playing and I caught it on my iphone.
even the EOW letters were on my tile board and I didn't even notice until after starting to post this.

That's hilarious! Smart kitteh and kiddo, worthy of a viral kitteh photo except evryone will think it's a set up.
Wish that I could share some of the bay breezes here with you in Maine and Brooklyn could play with the rocks on the beach as I did whe I was his age here. You'd enjoy the junking here for sure.
Now I've got my folks saving rusty bits and such so I already have a pile to bring home when I first get here.
