Go Fly a Kite

Today was a surprisingly windy day.
The perfect day to get out the kite we have had since Easter and go fly it.

So much joy came over us as that wind grabbed that kite and we took turns wrangling it up and down and side to side.  In the trees and down to the ground.

The boy thought he was doing it all by holding the reins, he was so proud of himself.

A good day in the park...to go fly a kite

Its weird what you remember as a kid. When I was little, my Dad bought me a green "man in the moon kite". Once we got it up in the sky, I started crying because I was afraid it would blow away forever. It must have hung in our garage forever!! Your "little man" is growing so much. . .

Take care my friend,
Sue

Oh my goodness, what a perfect photo of you and Brooklyn in that last photo......love it!
So glad you had a great time. One of my very favorite photos of my dd is her flying a kite at the Oregon coast while we were on vacation.

There's something magical there......up in the clouds with the wind blowing about. It's where I'd like to stay!
