A LOOOONG Night

Last night was long and I met some very interesting people.
I am just now going thru all the pictures and trying to wake up still from my first night out past 9pm in a very long time.
Thank you to all who did come by and support me last night.
And to those who couldn't come but sent your good luck wishes to me via texts and emails.
It really meant the world to me that you all took time to do this.
I will post later with some pictures :) blogger doesn't seem to want to load photos for me right now

Support Your Local Art

Come out tomorrow to celebrate the 11th anniversary of First Friday Art Festival
Local artists galore, galleries,tents, food trucks and fun to be had.
So get out see that there is more to Vegas than casinos and showgirls.
I will be at The Funk House from 5 to 11pm tomorrow.
Drop by have a drink, have some conversation and maybe go home with a piece you love.

one second earlier the cat leaned in to kiss B on the cheek. It was the cutest thing that I almost caught on camera, but the camera wasn't focusing, urg.

These days body parts are interchangeable, women(and men)discard what was given to them, and buy new parts, in hopes of instant beauty and some sort of acceptance by society.
This installation will be shown with my opening at The Funk House, Feb 3rd.

Art @ The Funk House

Started on my gallery wall today, showing is opening on Friday Feb. 3rd and runs thru the end of Feb.The Funk House is not your everyday gallery space. It is an antique shop with a small gallery in the back. It is unique and specializes in rare finds.
These are just some quick peeks at what I was allowed to start on...there is more to come.
