As the holidays draw near, the days grow shorter.
My life is pretty full on a regular day, add in holidays and wham.
The day is gone in the blink of an eye.
Today is another full day and so I thought I would leave you with a peaceful image of a classic lady.
I found this adorable copy of Pride and Prejudice last year and found the forward to this book funny. It was a college prep book for a shorter version of Pride and Prejudice, stating...mind you in 1940, that the world is so face paced these days that no one has time to read the classics.
Sheesh, If the days could only move as slow as a day in 1940 today.
This classic school book is available here NOW SOLD
I am linking up with Kathleen over at Faded Charm for White Wednesday.
You are sure to find some lovely ladies and gents showing amazing Christmas whites.

Lucky be the person who snags this classic. My sister and I never made it through the whole book, well, I never did.
The days are flying by, this is true.
It's so hard to believe it's Christmas.
You are so right about the time...I mean where does it go ??? even though we have "time saving" machines etc. That's a beautiful and peaceful picture ...Gail x
Great image. I can relate to not having enough time in the day. Here's to tomorrow hope for the best. Linda
Wow, I can understand how reading a good novel was replace by T.V. and the internet.
But what on earth were people so busy doing in the 40's?
Blessings to you,
Irma
