Waking up full of energy is what I love.
Being able to take on a 5 year old, 2 cats and a house that was a complete disaster after the Christmas holiday, feels so good not to have to sit down after five minutes of being up.
No down time this weekend.
I cleaned and sewed and sewed and cleaned. I crocheted and cleaned and cleaned and crocheted.
My mood blanket is on day 12. I have completed one full row and now tonight I start the second row. I am having so much fun seeing how this comes out. It will be my second afghan and I am thrilled with how it is turning out.
Well this long weekend has come to a close and it is time for jammies and bedtime stories.

ReplyDeleteI spent 2 days creating and listing, then got sick Sunday night, not too bad though. Ugh, now it's Monday morning, sigh

I am so glad you are feeling better! I had a version of what you had the week of Christmas and then a kidney infection the next week. Both hubby and I were sick in bed for three or four days of each of those weeks! New year's week as well! He is on a second round of a stronger antibiotic but his infection is obviously getting better. Sounds like you and your boy are having great fun! Isn't it nice to feel good again? This year will be a great one for all of you!

ReplyDeleteI think that's what's wrong with SHelley…I think it's a really bad cold because she's had a low-grade fever and bad congestion….thankfully not sick enough to be the flu.
